[Reporter Peng Jianli/Miaoli Report] The 2024 presidential election is approaching. Miaoli County Mayor Zhong Dongjin, who used to be a member of the Kuomintang and still considers himself a blue battalion soldier, expressed his feelings on his personal Facebook fan page. The Kuomintang should "open the door and take the big road" and establish a unified national primary election mechanism to stop the bleeding among the blue camps, eliminate disputes with fair competition, and return the right to choose to the people. It is a wise move.

Zhong Dongjin pointed out in a post on his personal Facebook fan page, "The people who decide the future of the country in 2024 are all the people of Taiwan. It is a wise move for all political parties to win power if the right to choose is returned to the people."

Zhong Dongjin also pointed out from his own experience that because of the unfair and chaotic nomination system, he was unable to win the Miaoli county magistrate election for the Blue Camp as a KMT candidate, which is his personal eternal regret.

He also said that the 2024 general election is imminent. If the blue camp once again splits the party due to the ills of the internal mechanism and misses the opportunity to return to power, it will not only be a pity for the KMT, but a disaster in the history of Taiwan's democratic politics.

"Public opinion is the will of the party. Every blue camp candidate is a temporary choice, because every minute and every second delayed by political calculations is harmful to the candidates." Zhong Dongjin emphasized, "Protect the blue camp elites , give them a chance to compete on a fair basis, and every ounce of energy should be saved on the battlefield of unanimity, rather than spent on political calculations in a few decision-making circles. The KMT wants to go out and win back the trust of the people. Solution."

Zhong Dongjin believes that the establishment of a unified national primary election mechanism will stop the bleeding in the blue camp; eliminate disputes with fair competition, so that after the primary election, the victory and defeat can be put aside in the shortest possible time to unite with the outside world, and there is no time to hesitate in the face of a powerful ruling party.

"Open the door and take the road. The day when the secret room politics ends is the day when the Kuomintang will be reborn. Multi-party politics is Taiwan's life-saving talisman. If any party is missing, the country will fall into turmoil and unrest."
